Helping Kids Process Emotions & Build Skills

Our therapists provide one-on-one counseling using developmentally appropriate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and navigate challenges at home, school, and with peers.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, or life transitions, our experienced therapists create a safe, supportive environment where kids can express themselves and learn skills that will serve them throughout life.

We Help With

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Depression and sadness
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Behavior issues
  • Social difficulties
  • Life transitions (divorce, moving, grief)

Our Therapeutic Approaches

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps children identify negative thought patterns and learn practical skills to manage emotions and behaviors. It's highly effective for anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. We use age-appropriate activities, worksheets, and games to make CBT engaging for kids.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

Our trauma-informed approach helps children who have experienced trauma process difficult memories safely, reduce symptoms, and develop healthy coping strategies. Parents are involved in treatment to support their child's healing.

Age-Appropriate Techniques

We adapt our approach based on your child's developmental stage. Younger children may benefit from play-based activities, art, and storytelling. Teens often respond well to more traditional talk therapy combined with skill-building exercises.

Family Involvement

With appropriate consent, we involve parents and caregivers in treatment. We provide parent coaching, share strategies for managing behavior at home, and help families strengthen communication and support systems.
